SOMETHING HAPPENED YESTERDAY…AND, IT’S NOT THE “IGALA” YOU KNOW

Scintillating, energizing and entertaining was the atmosphere created yesterday evening at the EJURA’S ALBUM LISTENING PARTY. Indeed, a star is rising from amongst us – her performance wowed the audience – breathtaking that Dr. Mrs. Jumai Ahmadu in her good will message confessed that she got what it takes to hit the global stage like the likes of Tiwa Savage and co. In the same line, Hajiya Salamatu Baiwa called for massive and sincere supports for EJURA as she assured the people that she is worth investing in for the good of all and particularly, to give the creative community in our clime the hope they need to push on.

Now, the different thing entirely that this event brought out yesterday is the high level of cooperation and cohesion that was at play by the various bodies led by young Igala chaps that came together to make the event a reality; Starshow Entertainment (DJ Spicee), ARISE IGALA (Onoja J. Okpanachi), Urah TV (Sunday Attabo), Mariam Akpidi Foundation (Haj. Mariam), Enemona Josh Foundation (Comr. Enemona David Gabriel Onoja), Charles Iduh Foundaton (The Iduhs) and the Kogi East Entertainment Body creatively represented by Baba JFO, Alecs Chizar, Skofyfar, Yarah, Faith OJZ, Achile ‘AC De Comedian’ et al.

It was in view of the level of support given to EJURA that pushed Alhaji Salisu Umar close to tears as he expressed his happiness and words of hope saying that this generation has brought back that unity that has long disappeared from the kingdom – he told the crème de la crème of the women at the event that they have rekindled our light and that Igala will shine brightest again.

This new wave of unity blowing will not go away anytime soon, never as we are called upon to sustain it as Comrade Gooodman Akwu and HRH, Alhaji Abdulsamad (The Oga Ata Igala and Onu Igala Karu/Jikwoi) emphasized that the focal point of everyone should be the common good of all in all our ventures.
