ECHOCHO MOURNS EX-LAWMAKER, ALEX KADIRI
Distinguished Senator Isah Jibrin Echocho has expressed sadness over the demise of a former Kogi East Senator, Dr Alex Usman Kadiri, who passed away on Thursday, in Abuja after a brief illness.
Sen Isah Jibrin, in a statement he personally signed and send to the media, described the deceased as a dedicated politician and public servant who recorded significant milestone as Senator.
According to him, Senator Alex Usman Kadiri was an elder statesman, a devoted public servant, and a pillar of support to his community.
The statement reads, “I received the sad news of the death of former Senator Alex Usman Kadiri with a heavy heart.
“Senator Alex Usman Kadiri was a committed leader, a dedicated politician and public servant who contributed immensely to the development of Kogi East senatorial district.
Sen Isah Jibrin reiterates his deepest sympathies and stands in solidarity with the deceased family, the good people of Odu, and Kogi State as they mourn the loss of an elder statesman.
The lawmaker prays for the repose of the soul of Senator Alex Kadiri and for God to grant the family and his loved one’s solace to bear this irreparable loss at this trying time, he concluded.
