Senator Echocho Launches Household Upliftment Initiative, Distributes N50,000 Grant Forms to 5,000 Constituents
In a bid to ensure his constituents benefit from government intervention programs, Senator Isah Jibrin Echocho has commenced the distribution of forms for the Federal Government’s Household Upliftment Programme. The initiative aims to provide N50,000 grants to approximately 5,000 beneficiaries across the nine Local Government Areas of Kogi East.
The distribution of forms, which began on Tuesday, targets the less privileged, with teams delivering the forms directly to their doorsteps. Senator Echocho emphasized that this intervention will have a direct impact on the people, particularly the underserved in his constituency.
The senator commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his foresight and love for Nigerians, describing the gesture as a responsible approach to addressing the needs of citizens. The programme is expected to run for three months, providing a significant boost to the households of beneficiaries.
‘This initiative demonstrates my commitment to the welfare of my constituents and our efforts to ensure they benefit from government programs’ , He added.
