Next Monday, November 25, 2024 will be a memorable gathering in honour of an icon, late Dr. Stephen Makoji Achema. The gathering is a colloquium in honour of the memory of the icon 25 years after passing on the world beyond. This day will be the grand finale of lined up events commemorating the sacrificial legacy of the great sage at the Shehu Musa Yar’Adua Centre, Abuja by 11:00am.
The Chairman of the occasion is Ambassador Yahaya kwande, while the Guest Speaker is Prof Jerry Gana and The Paper Discussants are Prof Sam Egwu, Prof Armstrong Idachaba, Prof Lucy Ogbadu and Dr Victor Alewo Adoji.
The event’s Special Guest of Honour is His Excellency, Sen George Akume Secretary to the Government of the Federation SGF. The Special Guest is Prince Shuaibu Abubakar Audu, Hon Minister of Steel Development.
The Kogi State Executive Governor, His Excellency, Alhaji Usman Ahmed Ododo will be the Host.
As illustrious sons and daughters of the land and many other nationalists gather at the historic event, His Royal Majesty, Mathew Alaji Opaluwa Oguche Akpa, Ata Igala and President Kogi State Council of traditional rulers will receive all as the Royal Father of the day.
The sacrificial lifestyle of late Dr. Stephen Makoji Achema distinguised him and years after his demise, his sacrificial legacy is still remembered. Living a worthy life is at the end of the whole matter the most important thing and that’s very key.
