AGAIN, ZACHARIAS VISIT IDAH DISTRIBUTE BAGS OF RICE TO WIDOWS AND DONATE 1M TO ABALAKA CARE FOUNDATION
Member representing Idah Federal Constituency and Chairman of the House Committee on Safety Standards and Regulations, Rt Hon. David Idris Zacharias today visited Idah Local Government.
During his visit, Rt. Hon. Zacharias distributed numerous bags of rice to widows within the local government as part of his ongoing efforts to alleviate the hardships faced by this often-overlooked demographic.
Additionally, he made a generous donation of ₦1 million to the Abalaka Care Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of orphans and the less privileged in Idah Local Government and the broader Kogi East region.
The Abalaka Care Foundation has been at the forefront of addressing critical social challenges, offering assistance to the underprivileged, and providing essential resources to orphans and vulnerable individuals and the financial support from Rt. Hon. Zacharias will significantly bolster the foundation’s capacity to fulfill its mission and extend its reach to more beneficiaries in need.
In a heartfelt expression of gratitude, the chairman of the foundation Mr. Abalaka Achenyo lauded Rt. Hon. Zacharias for his unwavering commitment to the welfare of widows, orphans, and the less privileged. He noted that the legislator’s consistent acts of kindness and support reflect a deep sense of responsibility and compassion for the community he represents.
