A group of Igala women, led by Hon. Aisha Ojonugwa, today visited Rt. Hon. David Idris Zacharias, the member representing Idah Federal constituency, to spread some Christmas cheer.
The women, who are members of the Igala Women Association, traveled to Ejule, Zacharias’ hometown, to celebrate the holiday with him.
During their visit, the group extended an invitation to Zacharias to attend and support their upcoming event, a clothing launch and women’s empowerment fundraiser, scheduled for December 31, 2024 which aims to promote women’s economic empowerment and provide support for vulnerable women in the community.
Zacharias, known for his commitment to community development and women’s empowerment accept the invitation and offer his support to the Igala Women Association.
