Senator Echocho’s wife, Hajia Aisha, yesterday supported the less privileged in Kogi East by distributing yuletide palliatives to widows.
The beneficiary received cash support of ten thousand naira, with other palliatives for christmas celebrations.
The event saw numerous widows expressing their heartfelt gratitude for Hajia Aisha’s generosity. Many beneficiaries stated how the cash support would help them provide for their families during the holidays. They encouraged others to emulate Hajia Aisha’s compassionate approach, emphasizing the importance of supporting those in need, especially during festive times.
Alhaji Danlami, who represented Hajia Aisha at the distribution ceremony, commended her for her commitment to uplifting the lives of widows and less privileged. He noted that her actions not only bring joy to the recipients but also inspire a culture of giving within the zone. This gesture signifies a growing recognition of the need to support the less fortunate and foster a spirit of solidarity among residents in Kogi East.
