CONSTRUCTION OF 20 MODERN MOTORIZED WATER BOREHOLES COMMENCED ACROSS IDAH FEDERAL CONSTITUENCY

David Idris Zacharias, has embarked on a significant infrastructure development project aimed at addressing the perennial water challenges faced by Idah Federal constituency.
The project involves the construction of 20 modern motorized water boreholes strategically distributed across the four Local Government Areas (LGAs) that make up the constituency—Idah, Igalamela-Odolu, Ofu, and Ibaji.
The project commenced in Angwa, Idah Local Government Area and will run through the remaining other Local Government of Idah Federal constituency.
The modern motorized boreholes are expected to serve as a sustainable solution to the water scarcity issue in Idah Federal constituency. Each borehole will be equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, including solar-powered pumping systems and water storage tanks, ensuring a reliable supply of water even in remote areas.
Beyond providing clean water, the boreholes are also expected to contribute to economic activities, particularly in agricultural communities where water is essential for irrigation and livestock farming.
