HON. MURTALA YAKUBU AJAKA DONATES ₦5 MILLION TO ST. MARY’S CATHOLIC CHURCH EJINYA AND ₦5 MILLION TO EJINYA CENTRAL MOSQUE
Hon. Murtala Yakubu Ajaka has donated th
e total sum of ₦10 Milliom to St. Mary’s Catholic Church and Central Mosque, Ejinya-Ugbonobi, Ankpa Local Government for ongoing church and mosque projects.
The donation was made during the burial Mass of Mr. Francis Yunusa Ocheni, the father of Hon. Ajaka’s close friend.
Hon. Ajaka, who attended the funeral with a high profile entourage, was joined by other dignitaries in making contributions. The Ajaka’s entourage also visited the Centrak Mosque. Among the entourage are Hon. Isa Musa Atodo who donated ₦1 million, while Hon. Prince Gowon Enenche and several others also made financial contributions in support of the projects.
During the Mass, the church community expressed gratitude for the generous donations and offered prayers for Hon. Ajaka and his entourage. The contributions are expected to significantly aid the Church and the Central Mosque in their ongoing projects, reinforcing the strong ties between political leaders and religion leaders.
